The visual goal of my piece is for people to recognize the rich culture of Kansas lands habited by tribes, settlers, and ranchers who have played a large part in the caretaking of our vast prairies. There is a connection between haybales, farm living, prairie sites and how the people and spaces lead us into a new environment.
